Projects
4-H projects are a great way for youth to explore their interests. Youth have the opportunity to learn and practice project skills in a variety of areas. Many youth discover their talents and passions through their 4-H project experiences.
Project skills aren’t the only things 4-H youth learn and practice. Youth in projects explore life skills such as communication, critical thinking, creativity and cooperation skills.
Project Support in Oconto County 4-H is provided through 4-H Project Leaders and project meetings. For information about how to get started in a 4-H Animal Project, Animal Science Project Overviews are available for most animal species.
Youth in 4-H projects have opportunities to apply for Awards and Recognition in the county program and exhibit at the Oconto County Fair and Wisconsin State Fair.
