The Division of Extension is offering their final Mental Health First Aid class for General Audiences in 2026! This is a powerful opportunity to build the skills our communities urgently need. Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to recognize signs of mental health or substance‑use challenges, respond with confidence, and connect someone to appropriate support. It’s practical, evidence‑based, and immediately useful in both professional and everyday settings.
This MHFA class will be held on Friday, November 20th from 9:00am – 3:30pm virtually via Zoom. We are able to offer this class for a $50 fee.
You can register for the class here: https://go.wisc.edu/8m2x3l
You can register by using the link above or going to our UW-Madison Extension Events Page. The registration closes on November 13th. We hope you’ll join us in strengthening our community’s capacity to support mental well‑being. Please send along to any contacts you have that may also benefit from this training, as it is open to the public.
