Powerful Tools for Caregivers® is a free, evidence-based, six-week workshop designed for adults who provide care for someone with a chronic illness. This interactive program helps caregivers develop practical skills to better manage the physical, emotional, and mental demands of caregiving—while also prioritizing their own wellbeing.
Participants learn proven strategies to reduce stress, build confidence in decision-making, manage time more effectively, communicate feelings clearly, set realistic goals, and locate supportive resources. Research on the Powerful Tools for Caregivers® program shows that participants experience reduced caregiver stress and burnout, improved self-care behaviors, increased confidence in managing caregiving challenges, and better emotional wellbeing. These outcomes are associated with improved quality of life for caregivers and more sustainable caregiving over time.
This virtual workshop meets weekly on Thursdays from January 15 through February 19, 2026, from 1:00–2:30 pm, and is offered at no cost. Sessions are held live on Zoom and provide a supportive, confidential environment to learn, reflect, and connect with other caregivers facing similar challenges.
Registration is required.
